Unique holiday cottages in the stunning Lake District

We have three unique cottages to choose from, all based in Pooley Bridge on Lake Ullswater, only five miles from Penrith and the M6/A66 junctions. All properties have full oil-fired central heating and hot water.

There is a great selection of pubs, cafés and shops all within a two-minute walk of any of our cottages.

Ideal for couples, our charming and cosy stone-built cottage with its own enclosed garden enjoys picturesque views towards Barton Fell. There is one step up to the entrance of the house, and on the ground floor you will find a living room with an open fire, a well-equipped fitted kitchen, and a dining area. On the first floor, there is a double bedroom with a TV, a single bedroom, and a bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower,  toilet, and basin. There is parking available for one vehicle and a cycle store. Includes bedding, towels, hairdryer and electricity.

Perfect for pet owners, this is a delightful single-storey semi-detached cottage situated next door to Mews Cottage. It is a converted barn, furnished and equipped to a high standard. Contained within the cottage is a living room, combined dining room and kitchen, two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), and a bathroom. The kitchen is fitted with a washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. There is private parking for one vehicle beside the cottage. The cottage can also be accessed by a single step via the back door. Includes bedding, towels, hairdryer and electricity.

Our delightful bungalow stands in its own grounds with views overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside, with private parking for three vehicles. The accommodation can all be found on the ground floor and comprises of: a living room with an open fire, a dining room with an alcove to a very spacious modern kitchen fitted with a washing machine and dryer, two double bedrooms (one with an additional single bed), and a bathroom with a shower over the bath, toilet, and basin. The cottage also boasts gardens to the front and rear and a patio with furniture. Includes bedding, towels, hairdryer and electricity.
